With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Riepe is dedicated to helping your pet's heart health.
Dr. Renee Riepe is a board-certified cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in Metro Detroit at a prominent Specialty Hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Riepe joined our BVS + AE team full-time earlier this month.
As the Internal Medicine Student of the Year at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Riepe further specialized her skills through cardiology training at the University of Illinois under Dr. David Sisson. She continues to share her knowledge with the veterinary community through lectures at national conventions and teaching at both veterinary and veterinary technician schools.
Dr Riepe emphasizes client education and tailors treatment plans to meet each patient's unique needs. With her expertise in cardiac care, we hope to enhance the survival rates of pets with various heart conditions here in Lexington and the surrounding communities.
Outside of BVS + AE, Dr. Riepe is involved in the equine community. She is the owner of several horses as well as a donkey, dogs, birds and cats.
